About the Band

Silent Home is a relentless force in the local metal scene, known for their hard-hitting riffs and cutting vocals - creating a sound that's as heavy as it is unforgettable.
Led by frontman Matthew Barnett, the 5-piece band was formed in 2021 in Columbus, Ohio. The rest of the line-up includes: Casey Dressler (Bass), Mack Parsley (Guitar), Christian Mains (Guitar), and Tim Dillard (Drums).
Drawing inspiration from alternative metal and nu-metal, Silent Home delivers a low-tuned sonic assault that leaves audiences constantly craving more.
The band's first single, "Disease" was released in 2021, notably including Morgan Rose (Sevendust) and Jose Urquiza (3 Years Hollow) as producers.
Following the band's first single, "Voices" was released in 2023 and was produced by Jakob Mooney (Mooney Recordings). Mooney was also the producer of the single, "Disguise" which was recently released in May 2024.
Silent Home has played with national acts including Taproot, OTEP, Doyle, Convictions, Thornhill, Hemlock and more.
